KAREN SOURS
 

A native of Mexico City, Karen moved after high school to study acting and directing at Texas State University.  Almost immediately upon graduation she moved to New York to continue studying acting at Circle in the Square.  There she met her mentor, Alan Langdon, and most of the fabulous members of Animus.  Most recent theater credits include Handcuffed to Darkness at VS Theater in LA which she produced and starred in, and Safehouse's Production of Job Interview by Jess Prosser, also in LA.  Favorite theater credits include: Animus' Production of Tennessee Williams Collected Shorts directed by Matt Lillard, GLADD Media Award Winner She Like Girls by Chisa Hutchison at the Ohio Theater, Aztec Economy's Production of Color TVs En Tijuana by Casey Wimpee, The Seagull directed by Alan Langdon, and Danny and the Deep Blue Sea directed by Alex Correia.  Favorite TV/Film credits include: the recurring role of Maria in FX's The BridgeInsidious, PBS' We are NY, and Going Local.  Karen's upcoming projects include: Negative written by Adam Gaines and directed by Joshua Caldwell, Limping Towards Babylon written and directed by Julius Galacki, and the development of a site specific, interactive theater production in Mexico City.  www.karensours.com
